Job codes for Balance Sheet, P&L and BAS

Hi MYOB Team,

 

Just want to find out how can we generate the balance sheet, P&L reports by column the job codes like the picture attached below?

 

We also need to know if MYOB allows users to create the business activity statement (BAS) by different job codes?

    Typically job costings are applied to income, cost of sales, and expenses accounts (Profit and Loss). This does mean that there is not a Balance Sheet style report that you can obtain for jobs. 

     

    In terms of the actual column layout, this is not a report that AccountRight can produce. Job reports will be produced with the information relating to one job followed by another job. It doesn't have the capacity to produce a table-style report. 

    In saying that, if you are looking at needing that report I would recommend seeing what third-party apps are available in that space to see if they offer that functionality. You can see a list of third-party apps through the MYOB App Marketplace.

     

    With respect to BAS, it's based on the company file ABN, not the job costings.
