I have a client who would like to change their balance date.
We have just completed the year-end process for the 12 months ended 31 December 2023.
The next accounts should cover an 18 months period from 01/01/2024 to 30/06/2025.
Then, back to 12 months from 01/07/2025.
Does anyone know how to change setting or do a roll over to cover 18 months period from 01/01/2024 to 30/06/2025?

I understand you're looking for away to adjust your client's financial year-end date to cover an 18-month period. From what I know, MYOB only allows adjustments for a 12-month period. So, you might need to create two separate financial years in the system and handle the transition manually. I am facing the same challenge as you did, only we are a small community radio station and are run 100% by volunteers.
I am curious which way you ended up going with this.
I have much experience with large ERP systems, but feel very limited by what I can do in our MYOB business environment. A test system would be ideal. MYOB has not offered this to me.
Would appreciate hearing from you.
