Hey handiestman,
Thanks for reaching out.
If you're registered for GST, you can head to More → Reports in the Solo app. You'll see four report options available:
- Profit & Loss
- GST Report
- GST Return
- Transaction List
When you open a report, you'll have the option to either Open the report first or Share it directly.
If you're having trouble finding where the file is downloading on your phone, try opening the report and then using the Share option to email it to yourself. This can make it much easier to access the report on another device and keep a copy for your records.
In terms of the payments appearing to be counted twice, this could potentially be related to the bank feed. We'd be happy to take a closer look and see what's happening.
You can reach out to us directly through the app by heading to More → Chat to Us, and one of the team can investigate this further for you.
If you have any other questions, just let us know 🙂

I have only been running Solo for 6 weeks and it seems fine enough. However I want to see where I stand profit wise for this tax year and when I download a statement on my phone it goes nowhere. It seems I can't access on desktop or browser so this seems totally counter intuitive. I thought the whole idea of Solo was to make tax time easy but if I can't download a statement how can I do anything? The quick view on home page of the app is so far out of whack as it count several payments twice to I have no idea if I am running a profit this financial year

I agree 100% usually a desk top / browser version Historicaly was brought to the users ahead of a mobile version, but in this case it has been the other way around perhaps to meet MYOB customers who may be primarily on their mobile. I for one will not use the mobile version unless the desktop version/ browser version replicates the mobile functionality. Shame, i was so looking forward to using Solo on my desktop browser :((

Hi mazdoesmktng !
Your feedback caught our attention, and we'd love to hear a bit more from you! Especially regarding access for your VA, am I safe to assume that's your Virtual Assistant? 👀️
We will follow up with you directly via email to make sure we get all the details and see if we can help you get the most out of Solo 😃

Hey Steane 😃
This kind of feedback is gold, so I’d love to pick your brain a bit more if you’re up for it. You’ve raised a few different things, so I’ll go point by point to make sure I’m understanding properly.
Timing out mid invoice creation
Definitely want to dig into this one more, because Solo cutting you off mid-invoice is not the vibe. Solo usually times out after 15 minutes, so it sounds like your invoices are often long or complex enough to take longer than that, is that right?
Drafting invoices
This feels linked to the point above, but your ideal set-up is that as soon as anything is added to an invoice, it automatically saves as a draft. Have I got that right?
Viewing unpaid invoices
Right now, Solo shows overdue invoices in the Action Hub on the home screen, but it sounds like you’d like to see all unpaid invoices there. I’d love to hear a bit more about that! Would that help mostly with keeping track of what’s outstanding, or do you also often need to open and edit invoices before they’re overdue?
Pricing information
We definitely need to look into this one, because your pricing and subscription type should be nice and clear on your subscription invoices.
I'd love to go through your full feedback, ideas, and what you need from Solo a bit more, so I'll follow up via email shortly so we can discuss your current way of working, what you'd like to see in Solo, and your subscription and billing.

It has some of the worst UX and UI design I have seen in an app. This is coming from a senior software engineer and designer.
There is no real reason why the app cannot be accessed in the browser, it is React Native.
Possibly the worst experience is being timed out of a session whilst mid-invoice creation, losing every single line item, there is no reason for this. For some invoices, there are so many line items assigned to tickets, it is tiresome using the phone to add these.
The difficulty in accessing subscription pricing and altering the current subscription is a deliberate anti-pattern not possible within the app but only online, hidden amongst deep menuing.
To find existing unpaid invoices, or alter saved invoices requires "money in" -> "view all income" -> tapping on an invoice. These invoices should be front and center on the home page.
Edited, open invoices should be automatically saved as a draft once line items are entered, there is no sane reason for an invoice in progress to not be a draft. - Jay-Solo2 months agoMYOB Staff
Hey Ransoffice09, so glad to hear you're excited as we are!
While we've got no firm updates to share just yet, our teams are always hard at work on the next generation of Solo features and enhancements.
By interacting with this post, you'll receive updates on this post when we get closer to showtime. You'll be among the first to know, how cool is that? 😎 - Ransoffice092 months agoMember
Hi Sigrid Solo, it’s now May 2026. Just wondering if there has been any progress on the desktop development? Keen for it
