Add Supplier/Customer Pop‑Up Alerts & Date‑Based Reminders in AccountRight + Browser
As a MYOB Partner managing multiple AccountRight licences, I am requesting the addition of pop‑up alerts and date‑based reminders for supplier and customer cards in both AccountRight Desktop and the Browser interface.
This functionality is essential for:
• ABN changes and trading‑entity transitions
• Preventing incorrect supplier selection
• Ensuring old entities are not used after a specific date
• Reducing data‑entry errors in multi‑user environments
• Improving compliance and audit accuracy
• Highlighting important notes at the moment a card is selected
Requested features:
1. Pop‑up alerts when selecting a supplier or customer (similar to the existing Browser alert, but extended and available in Desktop).
2. Date‑based reminders (e.g., “On 4/05/2026, mark this card inactive” or “Show alert after this date”).
3. Notes that can be set to display automatically when a card is used.
4. Optional automation to mark a card inactive on a specified date.
These features would significantly improve workflow reliability and reduce errors for many businesses.
