I have a solution for you EM.
Put inverted commas around the number, or the words, you are searching. This means it will only search that number complete.
example if you want to search for
type it as follows “0400 123 123”
should find only that number and nothing else
I think has to be inverted commas not just single commas though.
I don’t know what happens if the number isn’t in the Card List as XXXX XXX XXX

The same problem happens when I am searching a specific phone number to find out which customer it belongs to. It doesn't highlight all the correct numbers and narrow it down by each correct number which makes it incredibly hard to find the correct full number.
