I have not looked into this previously, but Backups are important for every business. Thankfully, it is a long time since I have needed to install a backup, but our backups are few and far between.
I have a small business with just two users, and our protocols have always been to leave MYOB running without logging out.
May I suggest that there is some kind of auto-backup facility to run on a daily basis in our situation?
Just a thought.

Thanks for your idea! We'll be sharing this one with our product teams and have updated the status to open for other members of our community to vote and add weight to your idea.
In the meantime, you can turn on the AccountRight preference to prompt for a backup each time to close your company file (Setup menu > Preferences >Security tab > Prompt for Data Backup when Closing). More information on backing up your company file can be found on this page, hope this helps!

We have introduced online backups recently! Each week, MYOB automatically backs up online company files that have had changes in the previous 7 days. It means you can relax knowing we're saving regular point-in-time versions of your online company file that you can roll back to if needed. You can also manually create online backups whenever you like and name them appropriately. These will be accessible along with the automatically created ones.
