MYOB Verification Nonsense!

I've partly submitted some of my ID to complete the verification process but then received an email requesting even more IDs. It stopped short of enquiring as to the colour of my underwear. What if I'm a Scotsman, laddie? Och!

I've since searched the forum and unsurprisingly others have vented their ire at this verification nonsense.

I shan't be going any further with the process and I expect that it will not affect the functionality of our MYOB. Otherwise I will be very much displeased and will be very cross with MYOB.

Stop these nonsensical so-called 'upgrades' and instead implement the sensible suggestions being made by your customers that will genuinely improve MYOB products.

  • Same here.

I've vented on another post also. I have already taken steps to move on. I prefer to go commando then tell them about the colour of undies I'm wearing just to use basic email functionality.

Just to be clear, when you say go 'commando', do you mean in regards to MYOB functions or do you mean à la Scotsman style?

how did you go with the rest of your MYOB verification?

I'm almost completed my migration out of MYOB software to start new on the 1st of July.

Did not proceed any further. Hopefully it wil not impact our ability to send invoices or the functionality of MYOB. If it does then I will be having serious discussions with my colleagues about moving onto other accounting software packages as we can ill-afford to be nursing an ill conceived software package from what used to be a very stable resource. You know, if MYOB implemented many of the suggestions being made by their customers, instead implementing changes that MYOB think we need, it would be a world-class software and we would very likely not be having these discussions in irate tones.
