Thanks for that answer. It adds some clarification.
But it still does not change the fact that as customers we would like to retain some additional control of our data. And having access to the backups on a server of our choice remains a big consideration.
In relation to the backup frequency, you say that the server makes a backup every 7 days. Does that mean that if there is a failure on day 6 of the cycle, customers need to re-enter 6 days worth of transactions when they recover the file?
If so, then I hope you can appreciate why I feel the need to take a backup myself every day.
