Creation service date column and remove discount code

Please add a date column page.  I can see suggestions of this across the community forum over the last year.  Also, it appears possible to rename the discount column but not remove the discount functionality so even if I change it to service date column, I can't use for that as it creates strange column content.  Thank you.
