AccountRight Desktop and the Online Browser file need be exactly the same in all things.
On my (very much preferred) Desktop my GST reporting is set as Cash Basis yet the Browser settings were set as Accrual. I discovered this while trying to find out why my GST reports differed between the two platforms. I queried this on Community Hub and was told that Desktop GST reporting is based on transaction type whereas the Browser is based on Account type therefore the GST settings difference between Platforms is irrelevant. Also the PAYG reporting was set to monthly on Desktop and yet was set as Quarterly on Browser. Ludicrous.
The two Platform must be identical as they are after all the same file.
Desktop & Browser should be identical

Yes, it is very confusing using the web version - layout is totally different and confusing.

Nothing simple or streamlined about it

Definately agree as we're paying for full accountright capability but only getting half of it online? Its been years since this has been a product but the improvements online are extremely slow in being done in terms of matching capability.

Its not really an idea its more of an expectation, the fact I have to keep jumping from one to another because there are limitations with the online version and vice versa is seriously time consuming and frustrating.
