MYOB Assist - Editing price creates new item

I have several products and services created in MYOB Business online which I access and use when creating a quote in the MYOB Assist app. Often I will go back into a quote (online) and alter the price of an existing item in a quote because I have received more information. I then save, and no further issues. When updating the price of an item in a quote in MYOB Assist app however, it will create a new/duplicate item and save it into my Products & Services library with it's own Item Code. This obviously creates many reporting issues, and took me some time to find, remove and rectify. 

As we do this often, it makes the MYOB Assist app unusable for us.
Ideally, when updating a product price in MYOB Assist, it should ask whether I wish to update the item or create a new item. Not automatically create a new item without asking me.
