Remove "Shipping" from invoices in Business Lite

We use the system for the accounts for a sporting club.

We do not ship any items and the members continually comment as to why a Shipping address is shown on the invoice.

Unfortunately it also looks unprofessional, not like the rest of the program.

I note from the Forum that I am not the only person who has raised this matter.

I have worked out that by not copying the Billing Address into the Shipping Address in the Customer details it removes it from the invoice.

i have gone back in and deleted any details in the Shipping  Address section and it seems to be working. Make sure all the fields are blank. You also need to go to the top of the ‘Country’ choice and click the choice of country in blue and it then comes up blank. This is when you are deleting old entries that show a billing address,

Seems  to work for me. For new entries just don’t pick the option to fill it in with sales as the Billing Address.

  • Hello AmandaMYOB ,  thanks for pointing me to this post. Any update as to when this will be changed? As at least 30 to 40% of businesses don't ship things.

Dennis25 , great work, good to know. Also noted that if you don't have a shipping address but want one, ticking the option "same as billing" will make the shipping address appear on invoices too.

SupportNoteGuy , this would be good info to add to the topic on Adding customers.

    Hey Dennis25

Thanks for your idea! We'll be sharing this one with our product teams and have updated the status to open for other members of our community to vote and add weight to your idea.

  • I have a Service business and Shipping is completely wrong, an option for "Service Address" or where you can customise your own heading "Custom"
