Thanks for your response Steven.
Yes there were accounts in the field. I have since been chatting to Ryan who got me to look at employee cards. The weird thing is we don't have any employees but there was a card with the name simply A. WHen I tried to delete this card the error came up that there were invoices on file for this employee and the history for the employee A showed amounts in several months each year going back to 2017. I have no idea what that's about but trying to look at it when I get a moment. I don't know how to find details of the invoices as i've never intentionally wanted to deal with employees let alone one called A. Just wondering if I've been hacked?
Hi Stephenchico
I don't think that deleting the employee record would resolve that for you. However, it sounds like the employee has been added as a Salesperson to invoices - running the Sales [Salesperson Detial] report (Reports>>Sales>>Salesperson>>Sales [Salesperson Detial] for an extended date range (01/01/1990 - 31/12/9998) would list all the invoices that the salesperson would need to be removed on should you wish to delete that employee report.
In terms of the Transfer Money error, you mentioned it wasn't happening on another computer, is that accessing the same file? If it's not happening on another computer with the same file that would commonly suggest an environmental error on that computer as opposed to a file-related error. You can check this by seeing if the same error happens in the sample company file (Clearwater) on that computer. Assuming it does happen on clearwater then we would be looking at potential differences into why it would be working on one computer and not the other i.e. do they have the same Operating System? Does disabling other third-party products on the computer that is not working allow the transaction to be open? Have you completed a reinstall of the software on that computer?

Thanks for your prompt reply Steven. Much appreciated. On oue other computer using the same file I am able to reconcile bank feed transfer amounts as well as goto Command Centre>Accounts>Transfer Money without encountering the error message. When I open Clearwater I get the error messge via the same steps. So this would suggest to me as well it is not a file relted issue. Are you able to give me a link to steps for reinstalling the software? When I tried to search the web site for help on reinstalling, I could only seem to find server edition related links.

Hi Stephenchico
The process should be the same as the Server Edition but here are the required Help Articles to complete that reinstall.
