Inventory Adjustment

Hi Team,

Could you let us know the double entry that passes in MYOB when an inventory adjustment is made. We're only able to see the account mentioned in the inventory adjustment being debited or credited.

As per the attached image, the packaging account is credited, but we're unable to find where the debit entry is

Re: Inventory Adjustment

Hi @MaduSS , the other leg goes to the asset account for the item.

Re: Inventory Adjustment

Hi @MaduSS,

Thank you for your post.

If you're using an AccountRight product, I recommend recapping the transaction to double-check where the debit and credit entries are posted. Please note that recapping transactions may not be available in the browser version. However, the debit entry for inventory adjustments is usually posted to an asset account. Please review your accounts related to inventory or assets to find the corresponding debit entry.

Please let me know if you require further assistance.
