Final Pay - 32% tax

Hi There!

I am currently doing a redundancy payout and part of the pay needs to be taxed at 32%.

Do I just over ride the tax witheld figures? I can find any way to make it calculate to 32%

Thanks!

Re: Final Pay - 32% tax

Hi @call23

AccountRight will tax an employee based on a per pay basis based on the tax table the employee is on, the payroll year and the tax tables of the version of the program are using. Final payments are likely to include additional wage values and thus may be required to be taxed differently to a normal employee pay. As such, if the listed PAYG value is not what you are after you can overtype that list PAYG value to be the required value before recording the pay.

Kind regards,
Steven
