Re: Update Release AccountRight 2020.2 Removal of Prepare Payment Summaries

Hi @TOHC

What you are describing is correct behaviour of the product with the Prepare Payment Summaries option not being included in the Payroll Command Centre if you have enabled payroll reporting in that company file.

However, you can print your payment summaries through the Command Centre menu (top of the screen)>>Payroll>>Prepare Payment Summaries to generate your payments summaries.

With respect, you are not understanding the situation.

The report you mention in your post defaults to the current payroll year. There is no option to customise the date range or payroll year.

Re: Update Release AccountRight 2020.2 Removal of Prepare Payment Summaries

Hi @DThorn

Yes, that is correct. The Payment Summary Assistant will only produce payments summaries for the current payroll year you are in.

If you have entered the pays in the new payroll year (payment date on or after 01/07/2020) the payroll year has been closed. As such, you would be looking at restoring a backup prior to entering those pays. This is similar behaviour to earlier AccountRight versions.

Kind regards,
Steven
