Work cover deductions

Ive noticed on a payslip that Myob has deducted a 40 hour period form an employee.

This is normally just recorded as a 40 hour period of work cover etc.

 

Now for some reason its deducting from annual leave accrual.

 

Ive tryed to call Myob call line with no luck i cant work and be on hold with numerous calls coming in.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for your post. If you go to Payroll Categories>>Entitlements tab and open the annual leave accrual is the Workcover payroll category ticked in the Linked Wages Category field? If it is, the leave accrual will be reduced by any hours paid against the Workcover payroll category.

     

    If that's not the issue can you please provide screenshots of a pay transaction and the set up of the Workcover payroll category. Make sure sensitive information is removed from screenshots prior to posting on the public Forum.
