reporting in payroll

Entitlement Balance (summary) report is giving me 2 different figures.  When I enter a date range of 19/5/22 to 19/5/22 I get that Toil entiltement is minus 30 hours for Karen.  If I enter date range of 1/5/22 to 19/5/22 I get Toil shows as 60 hrs??

I have only processed 1 pay during this period as we had gone to a new pay system from 17/2 to 26/4/22 (mainly trying to get around these wird errors we get in your system.  We have come back to your sysytem as the other one failed.

Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi Nungalinya,

     

    Thank you for your post.

     

    When running these reports. I recommend entering the date range as YTD. This is because the report needs to take into account opening/closing balances that have occurred up until that point. 

     

    If you run the report YTD, do you get the correct figure that is also reflected in the employee's card file?
