I can't apply a credit to a bill

Question

I'm trying to apply a credit note against a bill, I do this regularly, and have never had a problem.

Today it won't work. no error or message, it just doesn't apply when i press record.

I go to the transaction journal and my action has been recorded as ZERO

I've googled and see lots of mention of "categories" but have no idea what they are, and have never had this issue.

Thanks for your post. Can you please try clearing your AccountRight cache, once cleared can you apply the credit to the bill ?&nbsp;
&nbsp;
If it still doesn't work, can you please retrieve the diagnostic&nbsp;log of the AccountRight file after you have attempted to apply the credit and attach the log as a .TXT file to this thread.&nbsp;
