Did you have a pay type allocated for the terminated employees?
I have just successfully followed the instructions, but had to go back to the terminated employee's card and enter the type of payment, eg salary and wages (the box was previously blank). I believe this brought it in line with STP2 requirements.
My reports now balance.
Good luck.
I have the same issue: Summary report of the terminated employee is correct but STP 2 YTD verification doesn't pick up the ETP amounts. Followed all instructions, no luck.

Have you gone into the ATO reporting type for ETP? If that is blank for the terminated employee that may be the issue.

Thanks for all your options. I have tried all this and still isnt working. I have removed their termination dates, checked the Salary & Wages in tax area of card file, reversed the pay, completed a zero pay on the 30th for the employee with the ETP. Re-entered the pay. Added ETP reporting type. Still doesn't show the ETP Taxable payments. It shows the ETP Tax though. I really have no idea what else to try. Very frustrating.

Hi WiseLeanne1
Yes, this is a first thing I ve done before moving to STP2, checked all cards and they all have income type: salaries and wages. Only one terminated employee has an issue, her Summary report is fine but YTD verification remains the same despite the numerous updates!
