Trial Balance layout in Client Accounting

Is it possible to display the trial balance in Client Accounting (AO) so that the accounts run in account number order?

I have departmentalised accounts and all of the income shows up first followed by a long list of the expenses; can this functionality be turned off?

Re: Trial Balance layout in Client Accounting

Good afternoon,

The trial balance within AO already will/should automatically run in account numerical number (lowest to highest as set below as an example):

123 Accounting fees

126 BMW depreciation expense

149 Filing Fees

450 GST income etc.

This is how the TB/trail balance is already set out. As you mentioned about departmental, this can sometimes stop the numerical ordering as the system will take the departments into account. There is no way to turn that off.

You can turn off the functionality re departmental - however, if you turn this off please keep in mind you will completely lose the departments from your reporting also. (this can be achieved via the edit configuration details window > then Untick "this ledger uses departments")

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
