Re: Recurring transactions

Hi @Gumushane

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Community Forum. I hope you find plenty of helpful information.

My apologies for the late reply. We appreciate your patience with this matter. For editing recurring transactions, you may follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Recurring Transactions (available in the following menus: Sales, PurchasesBanking, or Accounting).
  2. Click on the schedule name of the recurring transaction.
  3. If you want to:
  • To delete the recurring transaction, click Delete.

Please note that deleting a recurring transaction only removes it from your list of recurring transaction templates. Transactions recorded previously, using this recurring transaction as a template, are not affected.

  • make changes to the schedule details or invoice information, make your changes, and click Save.

For further information, please check out this helpful article on recurring transactions. Feel free to post again anytime you require further assistance.

Kind regards,

Shella

Re: Recurring transactions

@Gumushane @Shella_A

Shella,

The next due and last posted dates do not appear in the Recurring Transactions List in MYOB Business.

I have used AccountRight for some 25 years - the next due and last posted appear in AccountRight.

Some Accountants want to do annual compliance where Journal Entries are annual.

I wish to advise Business Owners on a monthly or quarterly basis.

The next due and last posted dates are very useful when doing monthly journals.

Please advise.

Duncan

Re: Recurring transactions

Hi @DuncanS,

Thanks for your post.

My apologies for the late response. I understand that there is a feature gap between business and account rights. Nevertheless, clients can still view the amount, the most recent posts, and the next due dates for the recurring transaction if they use a Business Pro product. As an alternative, they could set up a recurring transaction that notifies their customers on a monthly or yearly basis.

If you're referring to a migrated transaction, then any recurring transactions won't automatically record on the browser if they were set to remind a user.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask. I also recommend reaching out to our online help desk and exploring our MYOB Academy to learn more about MYOB Business and other MYOB product features.

Kind regards,

Shella

Re: Recurring transactions

@Shella_A

I have looked at my client files this morning.

No client uses MYOB Business Lite.

Your commentary that Business Pro has Last Posted and Next Due is correct.

There is also a Days Overdue column.

I spoke with Martine Hoosen of Bookwiz Advisory/Bookwiz Academy early this month and she agreed that Last Posted and Next Due would be a good feature in MYOB Business.

Can I ask when the improvement in the Software occurred.

Thanks

Re: Recurring transactions

Hi @DuncanS,

Thanks for the response.

My apologies for the late reply. I'm sorry. As much as I wanted, however, I couldn't find the specific date when the "Last Posted" and "Next Due" features were implemented in MYOB Business.

Let me know if you still need further help.

Otherwise, if my response has answered your inquiry, please click "Accept as Solution" to help other users find this.
