Prepare Payroll has lost Bank feed
I'm trying to process a payroll urgently. Last payroll run a fortnight ago was fine. Since then, a change has been made to MYOB Business and menu items are on the left instead of at the top and now I have this problem. I go into Payroll/Prepare wage payments, and it tells me "Account details missing" I can't go further with payroll processing as the only option it gives me is to Download a bank file!! The message Account details missing must be incorrect as when I go to Banking/Bank transaction it is still showing bank transaction correctly (including the electronic payroll payments made from the bank yesterday which I am trying to process in payroll).10Views0likes1CommentChanges to MYOB Business

We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new MYOB software experience, launching tomorrow, Thursday 2 May 2024. I find it astonishing to read that they have listened to customer feedback! I can't find any users asking for navigation to be moved to the left. What's alarming is that the feature we've actually been asking you to implement for years has not been added. Instead all we get is some buttons moved around the screen. Really? Come on... Help please, i have started a new business and using account 19 premier. We did a stock adjustment to bring in the opening inventory - we did an import file. It imported all fine. When i look at inventory in MYOB - i see stock on hand, and i see each item has a value. Everything looks good. When i checked the balance of the inventory account in the chart of accounts the balance was $0. Very confused, i went and checked the transaction journal, and I see the value of the inventory we bought in, then an equivalent value credit applied. Have i done something wrong? Why is this credit there, i dont recall doing anything that would have resulted in this. Screen shot attached. I did the import un a few chunks of data, and each and every data import has a credit that matches the value import 100%. Surely i have missed a step. We have a custom tax report under reports- report list - tax 2023, also 2022 and 2021 I am a superuser and reports run ok for me, however I have a basic user that needs to run the reports - can you advise what settings I need to change under Maintenance Tasks permissions to give them access I am assuming I start with Product - Tax then selecting the group I have tried this and it says all reports are accessible.
