How do I compare sales by customer for a date range for this financial year and last financial year

In my old MYOB programme that was 10 years old it had really useful reports which MYOB Essentials does not seem to have.

Some of my favourites were:

 - a report showing sales by customer for this financial year compared to last - with ability to input date ranges

 - a similar report for purchases by supplier

 - a table with columns for customers with outstanding, total amount owing, owing on 30 days, owing on 60 days, owing on 90 days, owing on over 90 days.

Can someone tell me how to create these reports and why aren't they available as standard.

Kind Regards

Amanda

Hi Amanda (@Amanda31)

There is no report that shows sales over multiple periods, but you could run the Customer Sales report, using the filters to download just one year, then export the other year, so you have information from both.

The equivalent for purchases would be the Supplier Purchases report.

The best report to show what is owing on 30 days / 60 days / 90 days / over 90 days would be the Unpaid invoices report.

I have also attached our Help Article with a list of all the reports available on MYOB Essentials which may help as well: Reporting Inclusions.
