MYOB STILL SUCKS - WHY ARENT INVOICE NUMBERS AND QUOTE NUMBERS SEPERATE?

MYOB used to be ok but since this stupid upgrade was forced apon us I want to know why they cant fix simple issues. 

 

Quotes used to start with Q

 

Invoices used to start with INV

 

Basically running 2 x seperate numberins systems. 

 

If you converter a quote to a sale, because lets face it you dont win every quote, the quote would be converter to a new invoice and take the next invoice number. 

 

Why hasnt this been recitified yet. 

 

I brought this issue to the table as soon as this stupid upgrade happened.

Thank you for posting your feedback regarding the update in detail. 

 

I understand this has been raised multiple times by users and clearly the preferred numbering system by users is the old system. Unfortunately, we don't have a way to check what the development team is currently working on, since this is internal to them. All we could do for the moment was raise each suggestion to them. 

 

I am aware that this does not answer your question. But regardless we will keep raising this to the appropriate team.

why won't myob implement simple changes. 

the team responsible should admit they have created a fault and it should be rectified in days. Not months

Hi. Do you actually work for MYOB or not. Has anyone called the development team to find out WTF is happening with this?

I'm sorry if you feel that the team is not taking this issue seriously. We recently received an update regarding this request. The team is currently working on having this feature as one of their priorities and has started to do research and discovery on this capability of the product. We will do what we can to update you regarding this and we appreciate you for extending your patience in the matter.

I am Tiff from the Customer Resolutions team and I am acknowledging your feedback in regards to the recent migration.

I can confirm there are current software limitations linked to your concerns raised, and enhancement suggestions have been put forward for future consideration of change. Your MYOB account has been associated to this so if/when any change occurs, you will be notified directly.

That said, I cannot promise if or when this may change as there is a process to follow.
Any considered changes in our software products are also factored on the popularity of these requested changes (ie; how many customers make it known to us to request such a change), along with compliance requirements, and the benefits each change would create for our wider customer base to name a few. Please also be assured all potential changes go through stringent testing procedures before a change is implemented.

This is as much as we can do on this matter at this stage, therefore I will be closing this matter at my end. When and if the situation changes, you will be notified of this as mentioned above.

I totally agree.

This needs to be fixed.

We as a plumbing business if we are put through a QBCC audit which they do sometimes they ask for so many continuous invoices.  If there are invoice numbers missing (eg those that have been put as quotes) then they question as to why and then want another say 100 invoices sent to them and so on.

It really is not right how this new update changed things.

I dont have time to check numbers.  We pay way to much for this software.

There are cheaper versions of software out there that work way better then MYOB.

I use to recommend MYOB but sadly I wont be no more.

MYOB start fixing these problems please.

Its been 5 months.

 

It used to work! You did the update and now it doesn't. Your MYOB facebook people say to contact support or the community yet you don't do anything. 

 

This should have been a pority fix and done in the first month.
