Online Payments: Credit Card Surcharge

I don't know if this has also been suggested but it falls within creditcard surcharge and may also apply here...we do charge a credit card surcharge (and not had any backlash from customers) and every time I need to add a credit card surcharge I have to add it to the invoice (which has already been printed and recorded) and then record the payment for the full payment amount - in previous versions of AccountRight I could simply record the payment and the credit card surcharge would be recorded as a finance charge against that particular invoice. If I attempt to do that now AccountRight creates a new invoice just for the surcharge component and it doesn't apply against the particular invoice for which the payment was recorded. This feature was working well and it was changed when AccountRight underwent it's major facelift - any change this feature can be reinstated to save ridiculous amounts of time going back and forth to add a credit card surcharge?

You dont know at the time of sending the invoice how the customer will pay.

Then they pay by Cr card and you are hit with the paydirect fee by MYOB (and you have to wait 3 business days for your cash but thats another complaint)

At the time of payment can the MYOB fee be added so that we can recoup the out pocket?  The RMS do this when you pay rego online.

If surcharging the customer invoice was an option, I would opt into Myobs online card processing.

Why is this feature not already offered. ?It's a basic standard function 

please install it so we can use direct pay online 

We would like MYOB to automatically add the credit card % transaction fee onto the the final invoice when the customer opts to pay with credit card.

At the moment, we lose this value from our net profit. We do not know if the customer is going to pay with credit card nor can we charge merchant fee's in retrospect.

Unless something is done soon, we may have to remove the credit card payment option from our invoices.

IF only MYOB would please do this, we would switch our merchant facility from CBA overnight, even though it is a higher interest rate.

I'm astounded that this isn't a standard function.  Please could this be added as a matter of urgency so that I can use the facility.  We are a small business (hence the use of Essentials) and can't afford to carry the cost of the processing fee.  

You need the ability to pass on the surcharges, it would be great to add this simple function. I agree with above it is a matter of urgency, as we offer services and are a small business we can't afford to wear the cost.

Yes, that is exactly I need too. As a small business, I cannot afford the surcharge.

We should be able to set our own fee agend for payments by credit card.

ie. I might not charge the clients the full fee and decide to set the fee at 1.5% instead of the standard fee.
