How can I create my bimonthly AIM/Provisional tax return?
I found the new GST return function, but I cannot locate anything that looks like doing the AIM based.
While typing this, I looked under my general journals where there is a AIM / Map accounts option is. Does that mean I have to remap all the accounts again? Thanks MYOB?
Hoping that there is a more convenient solution.

Hello, I had the same problem and MYOB could not help me. I tried the following and it worked.
Go to:
- Accounting
- Prepare GST return
It then comes up with
Prepare GST return, you can file your GST return etc, etc
You then choose File with MYOB on the left hand side
Get Started
It's very confusing because no where does it say AIM return just GST until you click on get started, they have changed it and giving you old instructions when you ask for help, or to send a screen shot. MYOB help staff should log in and have a look for themselves.
I now want to file my GST return but it won't accept that I have mapped accounts so I can continue and file.

Hello,
I did map the AIM accounts again on the new software, however the AIM return isn't picking them up, instead is showing zero for some accounts and random numbers for others.
How can we fix it?

Hi @GreenFootprint,
Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community Forum.
I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties with your AIM report. If you already checked what @no1cleaner has mentioned and mapped this correctly with the right period, the report should populate correctly. Unfortunately, we are unable to tell you how to map your AIM report as this is considered financial advice. I recommend speaking to an accountant/financial advisor.
If the software is not picking the date that it's supposed to from the ledger accounts, feel free to let us know.
Let us know if you require any other assistance.
Thanks,
Genreve
