My client has a permanent full-time employee who started on 27th June, and my client is running the fortnightly payroll. On 12th July, she received her first payment and first payslip. What brought up her attention is the "Leave accrued in Advance since start date". The payslip shows only 4.82 hours accrued, which is less than 3.076923 hours per week on the support notes. Could anyone please advise why this happened? The holiday pay due balance is exactly 8% of her gross pay, which makes sense to me.

The hours shown for accrual and on payslips is an "estimate only" and has some rounding included. It will go up and down slightly, but will come out in the wash at the 12 month anniversary rollover. it is based on time rather than the $.
