Opening Inventory Report vs Print Preview
Why can't Print Preview open larger like the Inventory report? ie click "Committed" in Inventory item in AR Desktop the report opens top to bottom of screen But the print preview opens smaller. Can this be made to open the same as the inventory report? It would mean I wouldn't have to re-size to see contents of the print preview every time I previewReport Performance Issues
Hi MYOB Team & Community, Since June 24 2026 we've had persistent timeout errors in our AccountRight file, mostly on sales, Profit & Loss and GL reports. We initially assumed this was EOFY load and would settle down. It hasn't. We're now three weeks into the new financial year and still hitting the same timeouts. We've stripped the data being loaded down to a bare minimum and the timeouts continue regardless. It's also broken our third-party apps connected to our file, as they hit the same timeout on transfer. This affects all users on our file, not one account or machine. Has anyone else experience these issues lately? If you've found a workaround, please share it. And if anyone from MYOB is monitoring this, we'd appreciate an actual explanation of what's causing it and a timeline for a fix, three weeks without reliable reporting has been incredibly challenging for our business at what is already one of our busiest times of year. Thanks.105Views0likes4CommentsUnderstanding the Transaction List Report
If you’re trying to get a clear view of what’s happened in your business over a certain period, the Transaction List report is a great place to start. It gives you a simple, line-by-line breakdown of all transactions for your business within the timeframe you choose.121Views0likes0CommentsGeneral Ledger Report that includes Supplier Name and Bill Description details
MYOB need to have better standard reports to allow ease of checking and verifying accounts and transactions. A basic report, that all your competitors have, is a GL report that includes the supplier name and bill description details rather than payment information. MYOB needs more flexible reporting that allows users to add columns and customise the reports.67Views0likes1CommentGST Report in Solo: Know your numbers without the headache
Staying on top of GST doesn't have to mean hours of manual number-crunching. Solo's built-in GST Report gives registered businesses a clean, clear breakdown of GST collected and paid across any period — from a single month to a full financial year. Accessible directly from More → Reports → GST Report, the report organises your transactions into key sections covering sales, purchases, and expenses, with a GST summary that shows your overall position at a glance. You can export as PDF or Excel (CSV) for easy sharing with your accountant or for deeper analysis. The GST Report is only available if your business is set up as GST-registered in Solo's Business settings.53Views0likes0CommentsMove Item report
It would be fantastic if we could have a actual report for when we move stock items within our locations Its great that we can actually move stocks to various locations but we also need a traceability report so we can have on record - what items, qty, user ID of whom moved the items - its very well the admin can move the items but we have nothing to forward the warehouse to physically move the items within our locations I know in the older "enterprise" version this was available but it has not been implemented in the AccountRight premier version Its a very vital part of multi location businesses116Views1like2CommentsGrouping Custom Reports
My list of custom reports is getting longer and longer. I would really like to be able to group them, in the same way the standard in-built reports have sub groups. If there was a simple way to rename them, instead of having to open, save as and then go back to delete the original one, that would a start. Then I could rename all the ones I use for BAS prep as BAS X, BAS Y, BAS Z etc so they're together in the list. Or all the EOM reports together. If I could categorise or group them, that would be even better so their names don't have to be longer. Grouping would also potentially make it easier to customise access for other users. I'd like to use my own customised group headings though too, and not have reports that started as standard payroll reports (for example), automatically added to a payroll group. I would probably even save a copy of some of the standard reports into the custom report list so that I don't have to jump in and out of the different sections as often. For clarity, I'm using the desktop version.Customizable Reports
MYOB need to make reports more customizable as the ones they currently have are very basic & time consuming. We used to use Reckon accounts and the flexibility of their reports were awesome. We had certain reports that you could just setup and they would automatically update when you opened them, none of this having to manually change date ranges etc. Saved a lot of time and frustration.MYOB generated Unpaid invoice summary emails
It would be great if the title of the system-generated email in respect of the above which MYOB sends out could be edited the same as the reminder email titles can be. At the moment they are sent out with the subject line "Your new statement from... *Company name*" which leads to me receiving replies from customers asking why they have been sent a link (which doesn't always work for them) and not a .pdf copy of their statement. The unpaid invoice summary is a great initiative but the title the email is being sent under is confusing and I for one would appreciate being able to change it. Have a happy day!
