Customer‑Specific Shipping Protocol Reminder When Generating Courier Labels
Idea / Feature Request: We would like the ability to set customer‑specific protocols within MYOB that trigger a reminder or pop‑up when finalising a sale. For our business, this is essential for delivery requirements. For example, we have a rural customer who must not have “Signature Required” selected. If this is accidentally ticked, the courier will not leave the parcel, and it is taken back to the depot — causing inconvenience and frustration for the customer. While this is a delivery‑specific need for us, the feature would be valuable for any business that must follow client‑specific protocols, such as special handling instructions, payment conditions, compliance notes, or other operational requirements that must not be overlooked. A pop‑up alert tied to the customer profile would ensure these important rules are followed every time, reduce errors, and improve both workflow and customer experience. Benefit: Ensures adherence to customer‑specific requirements Reduces mistakes during order processing Supports rural and high‑needs customers Saves time for both the business and the customer Improves consistency and service qualityScheduled ongoing invoice reminders
I am shocked and disappointed account right does not have the ability to send invoice reminders on a continuous basis if the invoice remains outstanding. The schedule configuration sends the invoice reminder as a once off eg if it is set to be sent at 30days after the due date it will however it will not re send this in another 30days if the invoice remains outstanding. Also, when viewing the history of the invoice to see sent dates etc the scheduled reminder's do not list in this view, this is not user friendly when following up outstanding invoices with clients the history is vital during client communication re efforts to have invoices paid etc.Pop-Up Alert when entering Sale
Hi Team, We have been a customer of MYOB/AccountRight for 20+ years. As our business grows and economic landscape changes we are being asked many different specific requests of our customers for their Orders. A very common question we get asked is "Can you make a note on our account to remind your guys to etc.." It would be very helpful to allow for a pop-up memo when entering a New Sale for selected Customer Cards. We currently rely on our ever-growing Sales team to make specific notes on customer's orders such as "Colour-Tag & Note Serial Numbers". These alerts are only relevant to particular customers and the message may vary. I have attached an example of the alert/notes we are currently manually adding (highlighted yellow). If this simple step is missed by our Sales Staff the knock-on affect can be quite large. I feel a simple solution would be to allow for a Customer Card option of "Pop-Up Memo when entering sale?", which would be ticked YES/NO. We could then pre-fill relevant memo's in a text box which would then appear in the middle of the screen when entering a sale for that particular customer. EXAMPLE Memo's when entering Sale: This customer is a inspection customer. Does this equipment need to be colour-tagged? This customer must have their own ID numbers Hard-stamped onto goods This customer does not allow any "Johnson" branded Chain Blocks on-site. This customer only allows delivery between 12-3pm weekdays. This will then prompt our Sales staff to make the necessary changes on the sale. Appreciate the support and hopefully this isn't too big of an addition!251Views7likes7CommentsAllow to automatically change invoice number when converting order, not just quotes
When the new separate sales numbering sequences were introduced, we set it up and changed the settings so order numbers wouldn't be retained when converting to invoices. However, after a bit of to and fro with support, we were told these settings only come into play when converting a quote to an order or invoice and are not triggered when converting an order to an invoice. This feels like a bit of an oversight in the implementation of the new number sequences. Otherwise, I don't understand the purpose or intent of the separate sequencing. We liked the idea of the separate sequences because our invoice numbers have been jumping all over the place because some orders are not converted until several months after creating. On a rare positive note, we've noticed the bug that meant we weren't being warned about duplicate sales invoice numbers has been fixed, so that's something. Thanks.197Views2likes4CommentsMake online invoice layout match pdf invoice template
You allow us to create our own templates for sending invoices, so I think the version the customer sees in the invoice summary and the invoice portal(?) should match what they see if they open the PDF. It is our hope that the customer assumes MYOB has glitched rather than thinking that we would send something so unprofessional-looking.127Views1like3CommentsEmailing invoice -customer wants to print not pay
Having “Pay securely” as the default can be a bit confusing for folks just wanting to print the invoice, not pay it straight away. Clicking “Pay securely” is still how you access the full invoice view. My suggestion is to show “View full invoice” upfront as well as "Pay securely"! That will give the customer a choice and take away any confusion.152Views5likes2Comments
