*Update on billing changes *24/11/25

We have recently reviewed customer feedback and acknowledge that receiving invoices as PDF attachments is still the most convenient format for many of our clients.
To better support that preference, we will continue providing PDF invoices via email.

Original post: 24/10/25

We’re giving your bill a refresh to make it clearer and easier to read.

Throughout December and January, we’ll be rolling out the new look bill to all customers.

What does this mean for you?

  • One bill, one view – All charges related to your account will appear on a single, consolidated bill.
  • Clearer itemisation – See exactly what products you’re billed for, what usage charges apply, and the billing periods they cover.

 Accessing your bill

  • Each month, you’ll receive an email notification letting you know your bill is ready.
  • You can access and download your bill directly from My Account.
  • You will no longer be emailed a PDF invoice.  Update 24/11 - PDF will still be sent

You can check out a preview of the new look here.

I agree with all of the above comments. Why change something that was working 100% fine the way it was??

  • Very confused here, you are supposed to understand small businesses - thanks for giving me another task to complete, I prefer the invoice attachment or link via email as it currently is.

    Who thinks this stuff up?

I don't have any, repeat any, suppliers of services or goods that sends me an  email to tell me my invoice is ready.

Even the power/gas companies might send an email with a link to download directly off the email body, not a need to log into your account and download.

What possible great idea was this thought to be offering...my only thought is with the new JV with Stripe emailing invoices directly isn't offered or MYOB didn't buy that "package",...or maybe worse, MYOB refused to provide all it's private details to Stripe to sign up for the ability to email invoices directly from the new provider....(yes this is tongue in cheek) but we all know what angst has been caused  by MYOB's requirements to remain using direct emailing service.

  • Totally agree with the first 2 comments. Certainly get sick of jumping hoops for everyone in the name of progress. Bad enough getting a million emailed invoices as it is. At least they're all on emails. Now we'll have to go to a specific site to get an invoice. Bad move MYOB.

  • Agreed, a poor decision from MYOB. What is the point of sending an email to tell me there's a new invoice and not sending the invoice by email as you currently do? Send email, save or print attachment, job done.

Now you gotta go to the website, type in your email address, open your authenticator, type in the authentication code, go to the accounts page, find the invoice, download it, save or print it, sign out.

    Hardly exciting news.

      EXACTLY!

These types of unnecessary and accumulating technology-based tasks are fast becoming the NUMBER ONE productivity killer for small businesses.

All from a company that's supposed to understand small business and, even more ironically, specialise in invoicing.

      Exciting? No.

      Infuriating? Yes.

  • Extremely peeved that goiing forward I will need to log in to My Account each month just to access my invoice.

If you're sending me an email to tell my my invoice is ready, then just sending me the invoice.

Yet again, another accounting package supplier that is making extra work for its customers with the changes they are bringing in.

    DO BETTER

I'm so over the changes, which we, have no say about - I'm just starting to think it's time to look for a system that

      1. Lets me decide if i want the upgrade
      2. Gives me support

NOW WHO CAN RECOMMEND A SYSTEM?

    • Agree totally. So much easier to received the invoice attached to the email than having to log in and find it. More work for us. Not happy.

Couldn’t agree more. I just got the email and quickly came here to complain. Do MYOB ever ask their customers? How would it be if, in business, you had to log in somewhere to receive and download your invoice. MYOB have no bloody idea and need to think things through. What’s so hard about emailing a pdf, or even send it directly to the in tray?

      disappointed!
