Prepare electronic payments

Good morning everyone,

 

I have a few payroll transactions that were processed as electronic payments before being changed to cash for easier reconciliation. I have been trying to prepare the ABA file so I can download these payments and reconcile the bank account. However, I am not able to fill in all the required details. It asks for Client ID, which I have no idea where to obtain. I even went to ANZ, and they were not able to help me - apparently never heard of such a thing. Any ideas? It can't be this hard???

    Hey pezele,

     

    Since it's asking for Client ID, we'd say this is the perfect moment to give our team a shout. You can reach them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via MyAccount. They're the best folks to help unravel this for you and get that bank file sorted. It’d also be super handy if you could share a screenshot of the window where it’s asking for the Client ID. That'll give them the full picture to help you.

    Thank you for your reply, Doreen. I actually had a screenshot ready, just forgot to attach it. I've attached it now. I just submitted a support case, but wasn't able to attach the screenshot. Thank you.

    Hi pezele,

     

    Thanks for sharing the screenshots! It looks like you’re asking about the Direct Entry User ID. This is the ID your bank gives you when you sign up with them to handle direct credit transactions.     Hi Princess, thank you for your reply. I read the link that you provided before and we looked for that number everywhere. I even went to ANZ to ask and they had no idea, told me it looks like a scam!!! I think I ran out of my options to set up the electronic payments as this number doesn't seem to exist! Alternatively, do I have any other option how to reconcile these transactions from bank account? I used electronic tramsfer account for now just to match the bank statements, but I think it's not correct as the transactions are still sitting there 'ready to be reconciled, but I am unable to get them. Thank you!
