Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum.
Thank you for flagging this to us. When running a General Ledger Report and selecting not to show inactive accounts, this does not remove the inactive accounts from the report. To fix the issue, after you untick the box for inactive accounts, you need to click on "Run Reports" (Upper left corner) to run a report, this is to remove the account with zero balances.
