TPAR Lodgement Fail

I've lodged TPAR before and am doing it again- it saves as a C01 file.

I'm trying to upload to ATO and it keeps saying Lodgement Failed-

" Line 14. The file contains non-ASCII characters."

    Hi holly2170,

     

    You're definitely not the only one who's run into this. We've got a post from another user with a very similar issue. Have a squiz at this post here: TPAR report failed to lodge | MYOB Community as it goes through what can cause that pesky "non-ASCII characters" error and how to sort it out.

    Hi Sai!

    I went through the cards and made sure there were actually zero characters other than letters/numbers.

    Still getting this error message.

    Thanks for double-checking all that. Sounds like you've already done the hard yards. If it's still throwing that error after you've cleaned up the cards, best bet is to jump onto our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via MyAccount. The team can take a closer look at your file and see what's tripping it up.
