Hi there using the codng report in the browser verios of AR live. A transactions is only appearing on one side of the entry - ie the 00 account and not the otherside in the loan account. Any reason why a transaction wouldnt be showing. Its there as I can search on it via transactions. Just doesnt apear in coding report.

open up the transaction itself and check where it has been coded from and where it has been coded to
eg from bank account and to which gl account
it may just be that it has been coded incorrectly

No ive checked that first. Is in the right place and appears in the tw bank accounts - just one side isnt showing
It was done via transfer between accounts

No it was an allocated transfer between accounts. See attached reports x 2 - MYOB
Normal AR live GL detail report has both sides in the GL detail lising.
But the second report (coding report) out of web version only has one side of entry.

The coding report is just a GL listing type report but for cash trasactions. Can this please be escalated to a developer please as there is an issue with transfers between accounts showing on the coding report. Thanks Scott

Steven_M could we see if a developer/support rep can replicate. Basically in the online veriosn of AR - transfers between accounts are not appearing in one side of a coding report. cheers

Does that Withdrawal show in the Bank Transactions window for that account? The coding report is exclusively designed to look at those bank transactions so if you don't have that transaction come through that window it will not show up in that coding report. They will show on the General Ledger [Detial] report as you have recorded the journal from the bank account deposit, so the transaction has been generated.
Hi Steven, I only did as she didnt know what the codoing report was. Presumably as it is a feature only of the web browser solution. And I wasnt sure what happens if no one else responds.
Re the transactions - Yes it does appear if you look at the gL detail report ot of normal AR live. It appears on both bank accounts as a debit and credit. But in coding report it only shows on on eside and not the other. The only reason it would be helpful to resolve is we find the coding report really useful for our development cashflow reporting. So i wanted to check if there was an issue using trasnfers between accounts as opposed othertypes of transactions as we use them alot. Cheers,
