Bank reconciliation using the API

I'm new to MYOB, in fact I'm still just looking into which accounting system I may switch to.

I want to be able to use the API to create invoices then apply payments to those invoices and then reconcile those payments against my bank statement all using the API.

Is it possible to do all this through the API?

I signed up with Xero late last year and got all the way through to reconciling the payments against the bank statement and couldn't believe that they don't do it.

    Hi DeanOutlaw,

     

    Thanks for reaching out, We support the AccountRight and Essentials API on this forum board. We can POST invoices and payments via the API however we can not reconcile these transactions. This feature is only available from the front end of the programs.

    Do you know why that is?

    I find it frustrating that you can do just about everything but reconcile.

    It's like building an online shop but you can only pay by cash.
