HuxleyActivationException opening historic file

Hi there

I'm trying to open an MYOB backup, which we've previously validated as being OK, but am now getting an HuxleyActivationException when I try to open it in the latest version. The error log is attached, can someone advise on how to address it so we can open our historic data ?

many thanks

    Hi SimonD_PL

Thanks for sending through the error log. That message can be a bit confusing, especially when you know the backup was working.

The HuxleyActivationException basically means the file’s stuck between two AccountRight versions and isn’t sure which one to use. Good news,  the AccountRight Hotfix Tool will sort it.

Jump to this link and follow the steps to fix it: https://community.myob.com/discussions/accounting_software_general/invalid-fingerprint-error/718667

I'm having invalid fingerprint issues, follwed all the suggestions and downloaded all the suggested files and still not working. Just wasted about 6 hours. I HATE DEALING WITH MYOB, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT PART OF THE PACKAGE YOU BUY AND SUBSCRIBE TO
