Error message Account cannot be duplicated. Please select a different Account.

I am trying to link bank feeds to the accounts and keep getting this error message.  There are no accounts currently linked however there were previous feeds that were cancelled would this cause the problem and how can I resolve it?

    Check for Previous Connections: Ensure that there are no residual connections from previous bank feeds. Sometimes, even after cancellation, the system might still recognize the old link.
    Delete QIF Files: If you previously uploaded QIF files (bank statements) to the ledger account, you might need to delete these files. Go to the ‘Bank Transaction > Import Statement’ window and remove any QIF files connected to the ledger account. 
    Create a New Account: If the above steps don’t work, you might need to create a new account to link to the bank feed. This can help bypass any lingering issues from the previous connections.
    Contact Support: If the problem persists, it might be necessary to contact your software’s support team. They can run a script or perform a fix on your file to resolve the issue.
