Hi David_Hughes , those exact numbers are pre-set, so you cannot add them, but you should be able to add any other numbers, from (eg) 8-0001 to 8-9999.

Hi David_Hughes,
Yep, as Mike_James said, 8-0000 and 9-0000 are system presets, so you can’t create those. If you meant you can’t add accounts under them, it’s likely your business type is set to Individual, which doesn’t include header accounts for Other Expenses and Other Income.
If that’s the case, best bet is to reach out to support, pop a ticket in via MyAccount, or jump on live chat through MOCA, our virtual assistant. Our support team will certainly help with that.

Thanks for the reply
But sorry, nope, it does not work. I have no access to 8-0000, 9-0000 accounts at all,
Can't even see anything past 6-9999 Expenses!
They are both listed (8K,9K) but inaccessible and empty!
I've even tried to delete the existing Chart and reload a new one, with the 8-000 9-000 accounts I want listed, but it lists all to the end of 6-9999 Expenses, then nothing. It is deleting the 8-0000's and 9-0000's Accounts.
It's like MYOB has blocked and locked everything past 6-9999.
I run AccountRight-Premier with my other businesses; it all works fine!
But, I purchased Pro for a small start-up and ended up with half a chart of accounts. very frustrating after spending two (2) week's setting it all up.

Thank you, I'll check the setting, and if no luck, I'll go the support route.
Regards
David
