New Users

I'm trying to add a new user.  

On the desktop platform I have administrator access however on the online platform it is set as file user, how can I get this data to sync to allow me to invite users to the file?

    My apologies for the delay in response. My apologies for the late response. We're sorry to know that file role access has not been synced through the online platform of your MYOB account. We appreciate your patience and for reaching out.

     

    To upgrade a user’s online access from an online file user to an online administrator, their access as an online file user needs to be revoked, and you then need to be invited as an online administrator. This can all be done by someone with the online owner role by going into Setup >> User Access >> Manage Online Users.

     

    The level of online access that a user has is different from the file access they have. So it is possible to have a user with full access inside the file (such as the administrator role) who has been invited only as an online file user. Once the user has been re-invited with the online administrator role, please get them to open the file the first time through Open a Company File >> Online and sign in that way. This will bring up a list of all the files that they are able to access.
