Leave Loading Double Dipping on Leave Accrual Hours

Morning - I had this happen a year ago when our employee took annual leave and had thought I'd fixed it, but she's just brought it to my attention again that her Leave Loading is taking hours from her Accrued Leave. Her pay run this morning took 76 hours rather than the usual 38.

I've looked everywhere for a fix but just can't work out why this is happening as it's never happened for previous employees.  For the moment I have done a manual adjustment of her entitlements, but surely there is something more permanent to prevent this happening?

    Hey PLButchers,

Let's dive into what might be causing the double-dipping on the leave loading. A great place to start is the Standard Pay setup for the employee. It's worth checking if there are any hours entered there that could be contributing to this issue. You can remove those hours. Sometimes, if leave hours are pre-filled in the Standard Pay, this could double up during a pay run which would explain why the leave loading is siphoning off extra hours from their accrued leave. You can check this link for more info. If you're still encountering the same issue with leave hours, make sure to reach out to our team on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via MyAccount.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

I've done all that.  Leave hours are not pre-filled, holiday leave loading has been added to exemptions - I have messaged through MyAccount because I just can't see what I need to change.  It's rather frustrating and I feel like I'm going in circles. (It's likely something not obvious that my frazzled brain hasn't picked out yet) but I have followed the step by step instructions.
