PAYG Calculating Incorrectly

I have two Casual employees working exactly the same hours and both earing 1,398.40 per fortnight. One pays 136.00 per fortnight PAYG the other 316.00 per fortnight. Both claim the Tax Free Threshold and are resident in Australia. The correct PAYG is 136.00/ fortnight. Can anyone help with the probable cause for the differing PAYGs. Thanks

    Hi Egnorts,

You'll need to check each pay item linked to the employee with the incorrect PAYG calculation. There could be a pay item that isn't exempted from PAYG; that's why it's calculating incorrectly. Make sure that all relevant pay items are correctly marked as exempt or non-exempt from PAYG.

    Best regards,

    Doreen
