Processing Redundancy pay & Final Pay

How do I process redundancy pay AND final pay? Can someone please email me step by step instructions? I know how to do the final pay, but I think I need to do the redundancy part first, or can that be done in one step/final pay?

    Hey JWeber,

     

    You can process the redundancy and the employee’s final pay together in a single pay run. To do this,

     

    • Start a pay run for the employee.
    • Add the redundancy amount as an additional earnings line.
    • Click Add holidays or leave → Final pay to let MYOB calculate all leave and final pay entitlements.
    • Review the totals, then record the pay as normal.
