Super Overpayment

We have paid an employee too much super. We are not going to request the funds back. Instead, I have processed a $0.00 pay run with just the super adjustment. The only way I could record this was to say OK to void the pay. But this hasn't adjusted the super balances and isn't showing in the list when I pay liability. What am I doing wrong please.

Hi Kips,

If you want to process a super adjustment as a separate pay with no other amounts, follow the steps in link. Zero out all hours and amounts from the pay, then enter the super adjustment amount in the Superannuation Guarantee field. For example, if you've underpaid an employee's super, enter the underpaid amount as a positive number. If you've overpaid, enter the overpaid amount as a negative value.
