Super Salary Sacrifice exceeds limit

Hi

An employee has unfortunately had more salary sacrifice $$s deducted than allowable. They have also used all past concessional allowances. Can payments for past two months be reversed? Two of the super  payments have been submitted already, the most recent pay run has been completed and wages received but super not submitted as yet.

Any suggestions on a way to reverse these payments please. TIA

    Hi tjh123,

If the salary sacrifice of an employee exceeds its limit, there are two main actions you can take to resolve the issue: reversing or voiding the pay and returning the excess amount to the employee. Check this reversing superannuation payments for the complete guide.

You can also connect with our live chat agents through our virtual assistant, MOCA or by submitting a support case via MyAccount if further help is needed.

    Regards,

    Shella
