Adjusting GST on Purchase in Lite

Hey Guys

How do I adjust GST when entering a purchase where the GST amount calculated doesn't match the bill

    Hi Teepee75,

    Changing the GST amount is not advisable, this will cause the expected tax total based on the tax code not to reconcile with the actual tax total. You may also check This Help Article Recording a GST-only transaction to provide you with more information and instructions.

    Hi Teepee75,

     

    You can check the GST percentage of the item so that it'll be calculated correctly when you create the purchase to match the bill. To check the GST percentage, go to:

     

    • Accounting.
    • Tax codes.

      Hi, Its not the percentage i want to change...the GST amount to reflect what is in the bill. Rounding issues from the bill to MOYB rounding. Thanks
