greyed out sales register information cannot adjust information on invoices

Hello All

This morniong i have gone into my Sales Register to adjust an invoice number and desciption:- the arrows are greyed out, when i open the invoice up the date, invoice number and customer PO No are greyed out and do not allow changes, I cannot click on the description account name or amount either :(  Please help !

    Encountering grayed-out fields and being unable to make changes can indeed be frustrating. Not to worry! I'm here to assist you. This issue might be related to certain settings within the Setup >> Preferences menu. If you have transactions locked, it may prevent you from editing any information within them. Another setting to check is whether you've selected the "Transactions can be changed; they must be reversed" option, as this can cause the arrow icon, invoice number, and other transaction areas to appear grayed out and won't let you change or edit transactions.

      Hi jts2019 

       

      Suggest you also check your Permissions under User Access - someone might have set your access to these as read-only.
