combining costs for an item

&nbsp;
I am looking for a way to add the freight cost to an inventory item so the freight is not seen as an expense but is included in the value of the item in stock.&nbsp; The freight cost is paid to a different supplier.&nbsp; Any ideas out there?

Hi SSAP,&nbsp;Totally get the approach you’re going for, but when it comes to the accounting treatment and GST, your accountant’s the best person to confirm what’s right for your business. Meanwhile, I found a post and an article that explains how this can be handled in MYOB.&nbsp;Cheers,Princess
