Inventory register not showing correct QTY

We are having an issue where the Inventory register is showing stock available but when the page is printed the available stock is showing 0.  There is no stock available and the printed page is correct. How do we fix this?

I have been told there is a script that can be run to help?

    It sounds like there might be a discrepancy in the inventory data that requires a script to resolve.
