When recording an invoice in the desktop application of AccountRight, the user can update the listed account for a Service, Professional or Miscellaneous layout invoice. For an Item-based invoice, the account that is used for that transaction is based on the item-linked accounts --- I sell this item/Income account for tracking sales. This is unable to be changed on that particular invoice without editing the item.
The AccountRight browser has been updated to follow that same principle i.e. using the item's linked account on the transaction. Previously this could be changed on the invoice but this is no longer an option as the account column is greyed out after selecting the item. This is to bring it in line with the desktop software and to also avoid mistakes on the invoice with that account selection. Should you wish to select a different account when you record your item invoice you would either need to use a different item OR update the account on the item prior to recording the invoice (Sales>>Items). Please note this is similar to the AccountRight desktop range.
